§ About · How it works
How our foundation repair referrals work
We are a free referral service for homeowners in and around Murfreesboro. You tell us what you see, we pass it to one licensed local foundation contractor, and they come out to inspect it. This page covers each step and how we get paid.

From your call to a written estimate
Murfreesboro Foundation Repairs is a free referral service. We connect homeowners with independent, licensed local foundation contractors. We are not a contractor, we do not inspect or repair homes, and we do not guarantee any contractor's work. Contractors we refer may pay us a fee for each referral. Always check a contractor's license and get a written contract before work starts.

You decide
You do not owe anyone anything. Get other quotes if you want, and check the license at verify.tn.gov before you sign.
What we do and what we do not do
We answer the phone, take down what you are seeing, and match you with a contractor. That is the whole job. We do not inspect houses, give repair advice, quote prices or do any work. The contractor you meet is an independent business. Their estimate, contract, warranty and work are between you and them.
How we pick a contractor
We look for foundation contractors who cover your town and who hold the license your job needs. In Rutherford County that means a Tennessee home improvement license for residential jobs from $3,000 to $24,999, and a contractor license for $25,000 or more, according to the Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors. In Cannon, Bedford and Williamson counties the home improvement license is not required, but the contractor license rule for larger jobs still applies.
How we get paid
Contractors pay us, not you. A contractor may pay a fee for each homeowner we introduce, or a monthly fee to receive calls from this site. Either way, the arrangement is between us and the contractor. If you ever want to know which business we sent your request to, ask us and we will tell you.
Calls and texts
Calls to the number on this site may be recorded so we can pass your details along correctly. If you agree to texts on our form, you can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Our privacy policy has the details.
§ FAQ
Questions about the referral
Do you sell my information to several companies?
No. We pass your request to one contractor who covers your area. If that contractor cannot take the job, we may pass it to one other contractor, and we will tell you if we do. We do not sell your details to data brokers, and our privacy policy says the same thing.
Who pays you?
Contractors. A contractor we refer may pay us a fee for each homeowner we introduce, or a monthly fee to receive calls from this site. You pay nothing to us, and the fee is not added to your estimate as a separate line. Ask us which business got your request and we will tell you.
Do you check licenses?
We ask each contractor for their Tennessee license number before we refer anyone. In Rutherford County, jobs from $3,000 to $24,999 need a home improvement license, and jobs of $25,000 or more need a contractor license anywhere in the state. Check it yourself too. It takes a couple of minutes at verify.tn.gov.
Can I ask for a different contractor?
Yes. Tell us and we will try to find another licensed contractor who covers your town. You never have to hire the first one, and you are free to get other quotes on your own. For a large repair, two or three estimates is reasonable. Compare what each one says is wrong before you compare prices.
